Elgin still has a yard that builds, not just lists
Iron Oak sits under a tree that has seen more primers than I have. Model A pickup, T-bucket, an old pump that does not pump — the yard is the catalog.
They will sell you a car. They will also tell you what is wrong with it before your check clears. That is rare. I respect a shop that talks trash about its own inventory.
If you want a traditional hotrod that already smells like Elgin sun, walk the gravel. Do not call first if you can help it. Just show up.
